It’s an evening of listening to Zen. Komuso Ryusui, Ryuzen, and Kyozen will perform honkyoku, the shakuhachi solo pieces that was played by komuso monks as their Zen training, on jinashi shakuhachi, which are made of the same type of the shakuhachi played by komuso monks during the Edo period. This will be the second time the concert has been held, following last December. Please come and hear the bamboo sound of the komuso shakuhachi, which embodies the moment of enlightenment.
