明けましておめでとうございます。
優れた芸術や芸能には様々な解釈があって然るべきだと思いますが、私は、生業（なりわい）を捨て、家を捨て、名を捨てて、天蓋をかぶり、顔を捨て、言葉を捨てて、作者不詳の本曲を吹き、総てを捨て去った果てに解脱の様相を立ち表す虚無僧尺八の観点から尺八道を追究してまいります。

I believe that great art and performing arts should be open to many different interpretations, but I will pursue the path of the shakuhachi from the perspective of a komuso shakuhachi, which represents the state of ultimate liberation achieved by abandoning one’s livelihood, home, name, wearing a canopy, abandoning face, and words, and playing the pieces of Komuso Shakuhachi of unknown authorship.
