虚無僧 流水と錆鉢が電子音楽イベント「寂不異音(せきふいおん)」に出演します。
「寂不異音」というイベント名には、音と静寂は同じものであるという考えのもと音楽を探究していく、という意味が込められています。
「寂不異音」は、モジュラーシンセやグルーブボックスを中心とした電子系インプロヴィゼーション（即興）イベントで、虚無僧尺八とは縁遠い世界のような気がしますが、今回は流水が吹く尺八の古典本曲（江戸時代に虚無僧が吹いていた尺八の独奏曲）に、錆鉢がグルーブボックス等で即興的にエフェクトをかけていく刺激的で深遠な音楽的な試みを行います。是非、お越しください。

Starting at 6pm on Sunday, January 19th, komuso Ryusui and Sabibachi from “Komusoji Online” will be performing at the music event.
The event name “Senbunion” contains the meaning of exploring music based on the idea that sound and silence are the same thing.
“Sekifuion” is an electronic improvisation event centered around modular synths and grooveboxes, which may seem like a world away from komuso shakuhachi, but this time it will be a musical endeavour in which Ryusui will play classical shakuhachi pieces (solo pieces played by komuso in the Edo period) and Sabibachi will apply improvisational effects using grooveboxes and other instruments.
